The area of the castle is a part of a new nature park since 1. March 2014. The natural park “Templštejn” includes the castle hill and rocks above the river Jihlava. You will learn more about the nature in the section “Nature” and on wooden informational boards at the castle.

The second geocaching CITO event was held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 after the first one in 2011. Some self-seeding vegetation and garbage were removed from a part of the castle. Newly uncovered interesting scenery full of old trees and rocks was revealed. See the photo: Thank you for your help and I will be looking forward to seeing you next year.
Some cleaning works were done with a help of elder participants of knighthood Jesuit camp at Budkovice in the week after August 2, 2013. The camp called “Cancel the Templars” was ended by a battle between groups of “knights” and “templars” in costumes at the castle. We thank both the organizers and the participants for the help in the very hot summer weather.
Building permits for works in the castle were obtained. The preparatory designing work were completed and soon their implementation can start. Their course and extent will depend on the limited financial possibilities of the owner of the castle.
The castle Templštejn joined actions held during the Days of European heritage in this year. Guided tours organized by the owner and representatives of the town Moravský Krumlov took part on September 9, 2012. About 140 visitors came during four hours to see the castle and to learn about the history and the planes for the future.
Welcome to the new website Templštejn castle. Some parts of the site have not yet been finalized, but we are working hard on them. The website will be continuously updated and adapted to other languages.
